Hello!                                                                               

 

   My name is Mrs. Stark. I will be your teacher this year. I am very excited to be teaching Third Grade again this year! Each year I enjoy getting to know my students and learning about their wonderful families. Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in upstate New York. I had an idyllic childhood of warm summers and frigid cold winters. As I child, I loved to ride my horse and play with my friends. I come from a big family of 6 children and we have so much fun getting together now with all of our children. I have 14 nieces and nephews! When we all get together that comes to 31 of us! That's a big Thanksgiving table.

     I’ve attended college in Cortland, NY, Athens, OH and right here in good old Virginia. I love to learn new things! I love to read all kinds of books. I especially like books that make me laugh.
    

     My husband and I have four children. Our two oldest daughters attend Christopher Newport University. Our son is in High School and our youngest daughter is in Middle School. We have 2 cats and a cute, little, one year old Boston terrier named Jacey who keeps us running around! We also have a turtle named Lucky who lives in our backyard

     My favorite thing in the world is to spend time with my family. We are very close and we go on all kinds of crazy adventures together. We love to be outdoors and especially love the woods, kayaking, telling stories, and the beach.

    I look forward helping my students learn and grow this year. Thank you, parents, for all the support you lend to your student and to our classroom. I can’t wait to meet you all!
